Sometimes I Want To Sink Into

Sometimes I want to sink into everything and nothing all at once.

I want to feel and not feel simultaneously.

Sometimes I want to sink into the cake before it cools.

I want to run through and past the gates that hold us.

Sometimes I want to sink into the air currents I watch the hawks ride so well.

I want to feel the wind toss everything away and gently bring back what may.

Sometimes I want to sink into the bright clouds. Spring around on a trampoline.

I want to taste the rainbow and pull the stars a little closer.

Sometimes I want to sink into the days full of laughter and never emerge.

I want to laugh so hard my side splits and glitter pours out.

Sometimes I want to sink into everything and nothing all at once.
