We Must Go On

I am not sure if it’s part of being creative, or a part of my personality. I tend to have a flair for the dramatic at times. I try to keep it in wraps because, well, no one really wants to see someone dancing with glee in the grocery line because she got waved through. While everyone else is still waiting their turn. ( or do they?)

Anyway, I often struggle with the desire to toss this blog away. To toss away writing altogether. Because, what is the point.

Then when the dust of this outburst settles, I realize I would have to stop breathing if I were to quit. It would be painful then. I also get those subtle, and not so subtle messages from the angels saying I need to go on. Continue, as it is a joy to all.

Like a petulant child, I roll my eyes at them. Rather, at the sky, as I don’t necessarily see them. So, they amp up their message. Bring in an earth angel. A phone call. A message of how one poem, written and published in the local paper, has touched them deeply.

I then am humbled and gracious. Feeling quite relieved to have known that someone out there does benefit from my writing.

So thank you. All who read and enjoy. All who pour their heart out in words, pictures, paintings, sculptures, etc, and share those hearts with the world. We need you. I thank you. I ask you to not give up. Keep shining. The world needs your light.

The poem published in the Poetry Corner of the Sunday Insight page in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette:

In This Now

A moment is caught. His laugh bright, crisp, brilliantly

contagious. We all smile. Chuckle a little. Uncomfortable in our

expressions. As we watch him grace life with a gentle knowing.
All will be well. We long to feel this. Embrace it.

Toss off the worry and fear. Kick the virus out of our lives.

Eliminate all that holds us still.
He is free of this cloak. Free of the fretting. Free.
We ask how. He smiles. He lives in this now. Not worrying what

tomorrow might bring. Not concerned with what so and so said.

Nothing that happened yesterday is of concern.
Now is all we have. This moment. Embraced to its fullest.

He states as he walks away. Trickles of his magical laugh

meandering behind him. Drifting to our ears. Helping us feel free

in this now.

Many blessings and love to you.

  • I suggest you are living the way Jesus told us to live. He told us to cast our nets to the right. The right side of our brain is what connects us to source (GOD ). That is where imagination, creativity, awareness, talent, inspiration come from. We are constantly blasted info that feeds our left brain. Fear being the big one. Take heart, it is you and your fellow light warriors that will bring us through this great awakening. I couldn’t be prouder of you. Never give up!!!!
